It all started in 2004. When Jan Wegener took over the former Atelier Reinhold Mohr, nothing much was left of the busy times at Kreuzberg's Adalbertstrasse. Actually looking for a spray booth the then prop maker at Berlin Wintergartenvarieté made use of the chance and summarily bought the whole company including figures and customer base.
Two years and several late nights later, Wegener hired his first employees. With the growing customer base in 2011 the renaming of the company to MohrModels followed and the move to the old malt factory in the south of Berlin. Larger production and storage halls were just as crucial as an easy access to the new airport and major fashion show locations at Berlin Tempelhof and Gleisdreieeck. Meanwhile, MohrModels has 18 employees and counting.
